I signed up for the trial, how do I activate my practice?

An email will be sent to your email you used to sign up for the trial from the InLight EHR Support Team. Click the link from that email, then create your user account, and then you can login to your new practice and start configuring the settings and using the system.

Enter your temporary password provided in the email, create and confirm your new password, create and confirm your PIN (the 4 digit PIN is used to unlock user sessions after a period of inactivity), and click the Save button to update your account information.

What happens if I forget my password?

If you cannot remember your password, click the “Forgot Password” option on the Login page. This sends a message to the email associated with your account. The email contains a link to reset your password. Click the link and follow the on screen directions to reset your password.

Do I need to install any special software?

The InLight EHR is accessed through your internet browser using either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Will I need to take any steps to protect my data?

InLight EHR is cloud-based, so your patient data is stored off-site using HIPAA-compliant storage, and is backed up nightly.

Do I need any special hardware?

InLight EHR is accessed via a web browser from any device, and since data is stored off-site, you’ll never need a server or storage device.
